I put in my darkest "darks," which were the trees on the right and various dark shadows.
I then added the local color of the grass on each side of the road in the foreground.
Next, I added the local color and value of the trees on the left side of the road.
I added the distant grass, trees, and hills along with the final touches, such as the telephone poles and the house.
